TKFM General Donation

TKFM is a faith-based non-profit that proactively seeks to provide unique opportunities of support to families who are facing struggling times within the Edmond, Oklahoma Community. Our projects aim to supply meals, household necessities, swimming lessons, school supplies, library books, and comfort bags as well as spiritual guidance, and resources for good mental and physical health. We help assist our recipients’ journeys through acts of kindness, prayer, and the love of Jesus Christ.  Along with community partners and generous donors, we strive to add hope and comfort to those we serve.

2025 TKFM Projects 

•Texa Boxes

With the help of Community Partners and friends of TKFM ~ we supply household helper boxes with non-food items for families with children in need within the Edmond Area.  

•Learn to Swim & Snack Summer Program

In honor of our daughter Texa, who was extremely passionate about swimming at a senior elite level, we provide lessons to children who would not otherwise have the resources to do so. This TKFM project will once again be held at Peppers Ranch and we hope to return Coach Brian Kidd and his staff with their amazing knowledge, techniques, and experience.  The goal of this project is to not only teach swimming fundamentals as a valuable skill but to also instill a new level of confidence and achievement in each participant. 

A favorite coach of Texa, and a dear friend to us, hosts a swim clinic each year and 100% of the revenue along with a grant from Edmond Women's Club funds this summer project.  We are very grateful to Coach Hogan Thomas and his volunteers for providing a terrific foundation of financial support.  

Swimming lessons and snacks will be provided to each participant free of charge throughout the 4-week program.

New TKFM Projects in 2024 that we will continue in 2025 with the help of Community Partners and general donations:

•Air & Army National Guard Pantry

•Share The Love Thanksgiving Dinner

TKFM all started with a Share the Love Thanksgiving Dinner for Edmond families in need (6200+ meals to date).  With the help of Friends and Family of TKFM we were once again able to provide 200 full dinners (including turkeys) in 2024 for 1200 meals and aim to do so again in 2025.  We focused on local families in need of Peppers Ranch, Air & Army National Guards, Family Development & Intervention Services, Crossings Church, and Operation Christmas Train Set Foundation.  This project was near and dear to Texa and it is an honor to continue this tradition in her name.
